It tells us to hide.
To stay quiet.
To pretend everything is fine.
But hiding doesn't heal wounds.
It only keeps them buried.
Jesus isn't afraid of the parts of your story you're trying to cover up.
He doesn't heal the version of you that hides.
He heals the real you that comes into the light.
Today, bring one thing into the light.
Tell Jesus.
And if needed, tell a trusted person too.
