Stop Asking Why It Happened and Start Asking What God Will Do With It

He saw a person worth pursuing, a piece of clay with purpose still inside. That is how Jesus sees you too. He is not afraid of your broken places. He will walk right into them, and he will start shaping something beautiful out of what the world has already dismissed. Here is what hit me most about this passage. After the man was delivered, Jesus did not let him escape his past. He sent him back home to tell his story. That man became one of the earliest missionaries in the Bible, and all he had was a testimony. No degree, no platform, no perfect history. Just what God had done in his life. I think about my own story, losing my sight, my twelve suicide attempts, the moments in the forest where only Jesus showed up, and I realize the miracle was never the ending. It was always the beginning. Your story works the same way. The pain you survived, the shame you carried, the season you barely made it through, none of that disqualifies you. It is your mission field. Someone out there is waiting to hear exactly what you have been through, because your testimony might be the thing that keeps them holding on. God did not just save you to save you.
