You Don't Have to Become Qualified First

Have you ever felt completely unqualified for something God was calling you toward, already listing every reason why you couldn't possibly do it? That is exactly where the disciples found themselves in Luke 9:1-9. Jesus called ordinary men, gave them authority they did not earn, and sent them out before they felt ready. He even told them to take nothing for the journey, no supplies, no backup plan, nothing to lean on but him. That was not carelessness. That was a lesson in trust. The calling always comes before the confidence, and the mission always begins with Jesus, not with us. We do not have to become qualified first. We just have to be willing. When I was 19 and becoming legally blind, I had no idea I would one day be the DeafBlind Potter. I could not see a ministry, a radio show, a podcast, or any of this. All I knew was that if I could help one person get closer to God that day, I had done my job. That was the seed. I could not see the harvest, but God could. The same is true for you. Maybe God has already planted something in your heart and it feels too small or too far off. Do not underestimate what he is growing.
