When You're Waiting On A Promise From God

Waiting on God is not the same as being forgotten, and today's Bible study is going to remind you of that truth in a powerful way. Welcome back, friends. I am so glad you are here with me at The DeafBlind Potter. Today we are diving into Luke 8:40-56, and I want to be real with you from the start. We are talking about waiting on God, not the kind of waiting in line or watching the clock, but the kind where you know what you are praying for, you know what you are believing for, and yet nothing seems to be moving. Maybe that is exactly where you are right now. In this passage, we meet two desperate people, Jairus and a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years. Both of them came to Jesus with nothing left but faith, and both of them were about to learn that faith keeps trusting even when God's timing does not match ours. I share from my own life in this one, including the journey of my invention, the Seami Cane, a lighted white cane designed to protect blind people from being struck by cars. Years of work, setbacks, failed tests, and moments where I genuinely asked God why. But just like clay on the potter's wheel, the piece is never ruined just because it looks that way mid-process. The potter sees possibilities nobody else can see, and friend, so does God with your situation.
