When God Feels Silent in the Storm

Your storm has not left the presence of Jesus, and that changes everything. I am so glad you are here with me today. In this Bible study, we are going to walk through one of the most personal passages I know, Luke 8:22 to 25, where the disciples find themselves in the middle of a violent storm even while doing exactly what Jesus told them to do. That is the part that hits home. Being in the center of God's will does not mean life will be smooth. It means Jesus is in the boat with you, even when the waves are overwhelming and the fear is louder than your faith. I want to be real with you, the way I always try to be. When I was losing my sight and my hearing, I believed lies that told me my life was finished, that I was a burden, that nothing meaningful was left for me. Those lies pulled me deep into some very dark places. But Jesus met me there, not to remove the storm, but to speak into it, and into me. He did not take the blindness away. He chose to use it. That moment shifted everything, and it is the reason I am here talking to you right now. So wherever you are today, in a broken relationship, a health crisis, a financial struggle, or a battle inside your own mind, I need you to hear this. Your pain is real, your fear is real, and Jesus is real. The same one who rebuked the wind and the waves is still speaking today.
