The gospel calls believers to embody this loyalty, becoming a reflection of God’s presence and a community that draws others by their faithful witness, demonstrating the reality of salvation through steadfast belief and allegiance rather than personal perfection. This loyal faith is what secures salvation, even amid personal failure, for it aligns with God's covenantal steadfast love (ḥésed) rather than human merit.
