Don’t Waste Your Life on Temporary Things | 1 Peter 1:22-25

Peter’s readers lived under the shadow of Rome, the most powerful empire on earth. Its armies were unmatched. Its culture was dominant. Its future appeared secure. But Peter reminds believers that even the greatest human achievements have an expiration date. Quoting Isaiah, Peter writes: “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass.
