The Gospel, meaning "good news," centres on the simple but profound truth that God desires a human family, created to be in relationship with Him. Although sin has separated humanity from God since the fall in Eden, God’s original plan remains: to restore that relationship. The Gospel reveals that salvation is not earned by human effort or good works but is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus, God’s Son, willingly became human, died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin, and rose again on the 3rd day to reconcile us to God. Unlike every other merit-based religion that focuses on performance or rituals, the Gospel uniquely offers salvation through belief in Jesus’ sacrifice alone. To receive eternal life, one must acknowledge one's sinfulness, repent, and place exclusive faith in Jesus as the only way to God, embracing Him as Lord and Saviour.
