Thirty | Conflict: Master The Conflict Within And You Will Master Every Conflict

In this episode of Man Talk, Vince Miller is joined by David Dutrieuille. www.beresolute.org In conflict, we tend to ramp up emotionally. I do this all the time. I can feel my body and emotions change. In these moments the key is to de-escalate the situation. Stay calm, ask questions, listen, breath, and don’t feel like you have to respond at the moment. I have watched so many men escalate the situation rather than de-escalate them. Just notice any interaction with Jesus, he was a master at disarming any moment. And in Matthew 18 he taught us that handling conflict is about mastering self rather than a tactical battle with another person. Master the conflict within, and you will master every conflict.
