17-Open Theism, pt1

OPEN-THEISM is a heresy that doesn't seem to be going away! In their belief, the future consists of partly settled realities and partly of unsettled realities. And since free creatures have not made their choices and God doesn't foreknow them, the future is open. However, the Bible expressly teaches that God knows all hidden things and all things before they come to pass. He has exhaustive knowledge of the future, including the choices His creatures make. Even though GBC has taught on God's omniscience before, especially in our study of His attributes, we'll spend a couple of mid-week Bible studies to undergird the absolutely sovereign God, not the sub-Christian God of Open-Theism (Titus 1:9).
