1-God’s Architecture For Marriage, pt2

An American author, in writing of marriage recorded, "Success is not so much marrying one who makes you happy as escaping the many who could make you miserable." We have to confess that such a view is negative and quite jaded. Granted, many marriages end up that way, but they don't have to. As we suggested in our lesson last week, a couple can remain sweethearts for a lifetime, which is God's design. But they must work hard, enabled by the Spirit, to fulfill several biblical commitments! We began our series at GBC on "The Blueprint of a Healthy Marriage" last time and will finish the 1st lesson this week, looking at the PURPOSES, PRIORITY, PURITY, PERSPIRATION, PERMANENCE, & PREEMINENCE of God in the marriage.
