PART NINE: Your Inner Journey to Union With God In this episode of St.Aub, we explore the inner pilgrimage toward union with God. Awakening begins when we finally "come to our senses," recognizing the distance between who we have become and the person God created us to be. Purification follows as we repent, confess, turn away from the patterns of our fallen self, and begin cultivating Christlike virtues. And then comes illumination. As the heart is purified, our spiritual perception begins to change. Scripture becomes more than words on a page. Creation reveals the grandeur of God. Other people are increasingly seen as human beings created in His image and likeness. The spiritual reality that was always present begins to come into clearer view. This episode invites you to consider where you might be on your own Godward pilgrimage. The journey will look different for every person, and it cannot be rushed or reduced to a formula. But through God's grace, daily spiritual practice, repentance, humility, and continuous prayer, the soul can gradually awaken to a deeper awareness of His presence.
