If we do not give from principle systematically, we shall find that our one brief life is gone before we are aware of it, and that, in return, we have done little for that adorable One who bought us with His precious blood, and to Whom belongs all we have and are." We started looking last week at biblical stewardship and how to handle finances to the glory of God.Simple biblical principles instruct us that our money comes from God, it is neither good/bad, it is not the most important thing in life, is to be spent wisely, and is not just for ourselves. At midweek Bible study we'll conclude this "Brief Biblical Theology of Finance" with a look at principles from Corinthians and a few principles to bring our management of God's resources in line with biblical principles.
