The human quest for peace is never-ending. Ever since Cain lifted his hand against his brother Abel (Gen 4), peaceful coexistence has been little more than a fleeting ideal. There is a reason for that, of course, and it is not that people do not want peace. it is just that they want it on their own terms--terms which, of course, conflict with other peoples' terms. So as A.W. Tozer put it, "It is time that we Christians awake to the fact that the world cannot help us in anything that (truly) matters. Not the educators nor the legislators nor the scientists can bring us tranquility of heart, and without tranquility whatever else they give us is useless at last." During our worship together this Lord's Day we come to one of the most triumphant truths of Scripture. And that is that not only does God's unmerited love justify guilty sinners, but it also brings us peace with God. Now that is the greatest need of the human race! Forgiveness of sin and peace with Him! Join us for "An Unshakable & Secure Salvation, Granting Peace."-Romans 5:1-5
