C. H. Spurgeon rejoiced that though "We are constantly opposed, and yet perpetually preserved!" Well, perhaps you say you have never experienced an ounce of persecution for righteousness in your life. To that dear Spurgeon admonishes, "If we were more like Christ, we should be more hated by His enemies." Jesus pronounces blessing and happiness upon those who are, as Paul, 'filling up His afflictions.' Join us as we finish our study of the beatitudes with "Blessed are the Persecuted!" (Matt 5:10-12)
