The late Dr. Robert Thomas, former professor of New Testament at The Master's Seminary, made a lifelong study of the Lord Jesus Christ and was a well-respected scholar of the Gospels. He stated, "Jesus Christ was both the unique Son of God--the Messiah foretold in Scripture--and a man of His time and culture. His life and ministry on earth was so rich in experiences and His teachings so relevant to everyday life that one could construct an infinite number of varied charts and still not scratch the surface of all the Savior said and did (see John 21:25). The records of that one solitary life furnish a limitless resource for contemplation and challenge. We will know Him better by clearly organizing the facts that surround His life."
