If You Feel Empty, Overwhelmed, or Rejected… Watch This | Luke 6:17-26

What if the hardest seasons of your life aren't proof that God left you but proof that He's closest to you?
That's the question at the heart of Luke 6:17–26.
Jesus comes down from the mountain. He doesn't stay at a distance. He doesn't wait for people to clean themselves up or get it together. He walks to the low place, stands with hurting people, and says something that flips the world's idea of blessing completely upside down.
Blessed are the poor. Blessed are the hungry. Blessed are the ones who weep.
He's not saying pain is the goal. He's saying the people who know they need God are the ones most open to Him.
In this study, we walk through three things this passage reveals:
→ Jesus comes down — Before He ever speaks a word, He's already showing us the heart of God. He moves toward the need, not away from it.
→ The blessings nobody expected — The world says blessed are the strong, the successful, the celebrated. Jesus says blessed are the ones who know they need Me.
→ The warning the comfortable need to hear — Jesus doesn't just speak hope to the hurting. He tells the truth to the comfortable. You can have a life that looks successful on the outside and be drifting on the inside.
In this episode, Kelvin also shares some of the most personal stories he's told on this channel — including a season of suicidal thoughts while his suicide prevention videos were going viral, the moment he realized he was building his platform in his own strength, and what God had to strip away before real change could begin.
This one goes deep. But it's worth it.
