The Hardest Person to Reach for Heart Healing

Heart healing and transformation is only available to those who realize they need it. Yet there is a type of person that will become the hardest to reach. They may call themselves a believer, but their hearts are not positioned for what they need. The religious people got angry at Jesus, when He presented the Gospel that involved healing of the heart (Luke 4:18). Touching their brokenness triggered an angry reaction. It is the same response you can get from religious people today. It’s amazing that the love and grace of God and heart healing can stir up so much anger and resistance. They got so angry at Jesus, the Bible says they were strategizing on how they could throw him off of a cliff (Luke 4:29). What were they so angry about? He was hitting at the root problem.
