The Reign of Grace, Causing Death to Sin & Life to God,pt1-Rom 6:1-4

The great Westminster theologian, John Murray called Romans 6:2 the "fundamental premise" of Paul's thought in the entire chapter, which says, "How shall we who died to sin still live in it?" Is this not also fundamental to the whole doctrine of sanctification and the Christian's pursuit of a life of holiness?! It is this thought that lead James Montgomery Boice to conclude, "It is the most important verse in the Bible for believers in evangelical churches to understand today." So if that is true, we cannot overstate the importance of this week's study, as we've come to Romans 6 in our verse-by-verse expositions. Join us Sunday for "The Reign of Grace: Causing Death to Sin & Life to God",pt1.
