If you’ve ever been misunderstood, criticized, or opposed for doing the right thing—you’re in good company. Jesus didn’t avoid controversy—He walked right into it. SUMMARY: In Mark 3, the tension escalates. Jesus heals a man on the Sabbath, and the Pharisees respond not with praise but with a plot to destroy Him. Yet Jesus doesn’t slow down—He heals the crowds, casts out demons, chooses twelve disciples to carry His mission forward, and boldly calls out false accusations and empty religion. Even when His own family questions His sanity, Jesus stays focused, redefining family as those who do the will of God.
