Creationism and the Septuagint: Recent Study Alters Debate!

Does the Septuagint preserve a longer biblical chronology that fits the ancient world more naturally than the Masoretic Text? In this video we explore five major lines of evidence that raise serious questions about the traditional Masoretic chronology: * the Methuselah bristlecone pine tree * dendrochronology * the Egyptian pyramids * the earliest known literature * New Testament use of the Septuagint This is not an attempt to claim the issue is definitively solved. Rather, this is an exploration of evidence that has caused me to seriously reconsider the Septuagint chronology. You may notice some discrepancies between certain dates Larry uses and the dates used in this presentation. For consistency and convenience, I primarily followed the chronology calculations of Henry B. Smith Jr., one of the leading modern researchers advocating the longer Septuagint chronology.
