The Greek New Testament According to the Byzantine Text (2026) — Free Release
Today we're releasing a free PDF of The Greek New Testament According to the Byzantine Text — a project four years in the making. It's the Robinson–Pierpont 2026 Byzantine Textform, and it's the first time this text has appeared alongside real manuscript evidence. In this video I cover what's in the edition, how to grab a hyperlinked copy so you're not scrolling through 748 pages to find a verse, and what's next for a possible hardback.
What's in this edition:
An Edition Apparatus comparing the text against eleven landmark Greek New Testaments (NA28, SBL, Tyndale House, Westcott–Hort, both Textus Receptus editions, Hodges–Farstad, Pickering's Family 35, the Ecumenical Patriarchal Text, and more), plus a Manuscript Apparatus giving early papyri and uncial evidence — 9th century and earlier — for 50 significant variant units, including the woman caught in adultery and 1 John 5:7. Released entirely into the public domain: free to copy, print, or redistribute.
