Why do so many Christians stay spiritually stuck? In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul looks at a church full of gifted, saved, intelligent people… and he calls them infants. The reason? Comparison. Jealousy. Division. Immaturity. A lot of milk. Not enough muscle. In today’s study, we dig into one of the most confrontational and needed passages in the New Testament. Paul takes us from a nursery full of bickering believers to a construction site where God builds His eternal church—and He calls every one of us to grow up and pick up a brick. In this 15–20-minute deep-dive through 1 Corinthians 3, we walk through: • Why comparison always divides • Why every believer is a builder—not a spectator • Why your work will be tested by fire • Why you are the temple of the Holy Spirit • Why real wisdom requires becoming a “fool” to the world This chapter is a call to maturity. A call to focus. A call to spiritual grit. God’s building His church—and He wants you building with Him. 👇 Chapters & Takeaways included below. 👇 Drop a comment and join Project23 as we study through the entire Bible. 00:00 – Spiritual Infants in the Church 02:15 – A Church Stuck in the Nursery 05:40 – Observation 1: Comparison Divides (vv.1–4) 10:08 – Observation 2: Every Believer Is a Builder (vv.5–9) 14:25 – Observation 3: Build With Tested Materials (vv.10–15) 18:48 – Observation 4: You Are God’s Temple (vv.16–17) 22:10 – Observation 5: Self-Deception or Wisdom?
