Not an escape from the world, But a window to who truly rules it. Before judgment falls, before history turns, One thing is seen. A throne. And Someone seated on it. [Verse 1] I’m in the Spirit, and the door swings wide,Trumpet-voice calling, “Come up inside.” Not to flee earth, but to see what’s real,To learn who governs the turning of wheels. First thing I notice — not chaos, not war,But a throne set firm at the center of all. Light like jasper, fire-red stone,Justice and holiness wrapped in a throne. A rainbow surrounds it — promise still stands,Mercy remembered in sovereign hands. Around the throne — living beings stand,Not myths or monsters, but works of His hand. Lion and ox, a man, an eagle in flight,Heavenly beings gathered in sight. Eyes all around — nothing concealed,No corner of life remains unrevealed. Day and night they never cease,Declaring His holiness their voices release. They don’t argue, don’t question His reign,They respond in worship again and again. If heaven stays busy with praise this way,Then worship’s not optional — it’s how things stay. “‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” [Verse 3] Then elders rise from their thrones in place,Twenty-four witnesses, saved by His grace. They don’t cling tight to the crowns they wear,They fall to their knees, cast them right there. All authority returns to its source,Power bends low — no struggle, no force.“ You created all things,” they humbly proclaim,“By Your will they exist, by Your will they remain.” Heaven defines what true ruling means:Leadership kneels before Christ our King. “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come. The throne isn’t shown to satisfy curiosity. It’s shown to shape obedience. If heaven is ordered, then history isn’t random. If elders cast crowns, then leadership is stewardship. Worship isn’t escape —It’s alignment with our King. And when the Church forgets who’s on the throne,She panics at the headlines. When she remembers it,She endures, governs, repents, and overcomes. So we don’t worship to feel small, We worship to remember who rules it all.
