He walks among them, eyes like fire, feet like brass —inspecting, refining. This ain’t distant prophecy —it’s inspection day for the Bride. He speaks not to strangers, but to saints. And the sword in His mouth? The Word that cutslife from decay. These letters heal —but only after they wound. [Verse 1] Ehphesus — doctrine sharp, theology tight,You sniff out wolves, you stay in the fight. You labor hard, you expose the fake,You bear My name for conscience’s sake. But the warmth is gone — love turned to code,A covenant flame ran cold on the road. You guard the truth but forgot My touch,You built a wall that don’t mean much. So go back — remember, return, renew,The first affection I planted in you. Or I’ll move that lampstand, set it aside —Light with no heart ain’t fit for My Bride. You hate what’s false — that’s right, that’s real,But truth without passion forgets how to feel. [Verse 2] And then Smyrna — poor on earth, but rich in flame,Afflicted hard, but you carry My name. They call your truth a crime, a lie,But your throne’s with Me beyond the sky. You fear what’s comin’? Ten days of pain —They’ll lock your body, but can’t chain your brain. Be faithful unto death — your crown awaits,Forged in grace that dominates. You die once — the world calls loss,But death can’t sting those under the cross. You conquer by wounds, by tears, by trial,Glory hidden in every mile. Hold the line when they mock and sneer —The Second Death can’t come near. He walks in the fire where the lampstands glow, Testing every motive that we think He don’t know. Burn out the dross, let the real ones rise, Judgment in His steps, truth in His eyes. Refine us — break us — clean out the rot, Let your Church bring You glory. The one that you bought. [Verse 3] Pergamum — I see your grind, your zone,Livin’ right where Satan built his throne. You held My name when they killed My own,But now some b-ow to a pagan stone. Baalam's ghost slipped back inside,Twistin’ grace into license and pride. Idols on altars, lust in the pew —I see the secrets you think I missed, too. Repent — or the sword comes out My mouth,Truth cuts lies from north to south. But the faithful? They’ll feast unseen,Taste the manna between the scenes. A white stone given, a name reborn —Identity sealed, never torn. [Verse 4] Thyatira. — love runs deep, your works abound,Your faith grew strong — that’s solid ground. But you let her speak — that prophetess fake,Teaching My servants to fornicate. Jezebel’s charm still calls the crowd,Whispers of sin with her head unbowed. I gave her time — she mocked My grace,Now judgment waits, her children erased. But you who held fast, who never strayed —Stand firm in the truth ‘til the dawn invade. Authority’s comin’, the nations fall —You’ll rule with a rod, you’ll judge it all. Morning Star risin’, darkness done —You reign with Me — the war is won. He walks in the fire where the lampstands glow, Testing every motive that we think He don’t know. Burn out the dross, let the real ones rise, Judgment in His steps, truth in His eyes. Refine us — break us — clean out the rot, Let your Church bring You glory. The one that you bought. Judgment starts with the house of God. These aren’t stories — they’re mirrors. He’s still walking among the lampstands, testing the light, trimming the wicks. The sword still speaks. The stars still shine. And the fire still refines.
