Many Doors: The Protestant Door

What did Protestantism get right? Where did it drift? And why does that still matter? In the first video of the Many Doors series, I begin with Protestantism because it is where I started. Raised Lutheran, I’m not approaching this as an outsider, but as someone examining the tradition that shaped his early faith and gave him some of the tools to question, wrestle, and think seriously about Christianity. This video explores Martin Luther, the Reformation, direct access to Christ, sola scriptura, examined faith, Protestant fragmentation, and the tension between honest inquiry and institutional certainty. It is an attempt to honor what Protestantism opened while being honest about where it loses the thread.
