Lyrics
Who is worthyTo open the scroll and break the seal?
Who can carry the weight of what God has revealed?
Heaven waits in holy silence still…Who is worthy?
[Verse 1]
In the right hand — written tight, sealed strong,History bound where it’s always belonged.
Words inside and out nothing concealed,God’s revelation written, preserved and sealed.
A mighty voice shakes the heavenly floor,“Who is worthy to open the door?”
Angels pause, elders stand, creation still,No one steps forward — no one will.
And I weep, not from fear, but from the weight,If the scroll stays shut, then history waits.
If no mediator stands fills the expanse,Then promise stays written, and doesn’t advance.
[Verse 2]
Then an elder told me — “Do not weep.”One has prevailed, the scroll He can keep.
The Lion has conquered, Yes, Judah’s air,David’s Root still standing there.
I turn expecting power and flame,But I see a Lamb, bearing scars of pain.
Slain, yet standing — paradox true,Strength made perfect in wounds He knew.
Seven horns — all authority claimed,Seven eyes — the Spirit proclaimed.
He doesn’t rewrite what God decreed,He takes the scroll — He alone can read.
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To take the scroll and bear God’s name
By His blood He bought the lost
And is claiming the world at highest cost
[Verse 3]
The moment He takes it, heaven breaks,Living creatures fall, elders shake.
Harps resound, bowls rise high,Prayers of saints before the sky.Not forgotten, not ignored,Every cry is heard by the Lord.
A new song forms — never sung before,Redemption echoing throne to floor.
From every tribe, every tongue, every land,He forms a kingdom by His hand.
Not just forgiven — raised to reign,Priests to God through the Lamb once slain.
You are worthy, our Lord and God
To receive all glory, honor, and power
You created all things by Your command
By Your will they live, by Your will they stand
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Power and riches, wisdom and strength
Honor and glory forever proclaimed
To Him who sits on the throne — and the Lamb
Forever, and ever, Amen and Amen
