Just the Words of Jesus — All of Them

Every Christian denomination is eclectic. They all chose which texts to include, which to ignore, and which to bury in the Egyptian desert for seventeen hundred years. The difference is most of them won't admit it. Neo-Eclectic Christianity does. This video is what happens when you stop letting institutions answer the question for you and go back to just the words of Jesus. All of them. Canonical and Gnostic. Without asking a council for permission first. I didn't set out to build a framework. I just kept noticing a gap between what Jesus actually said and what Christianity looked like in practice. The further I followed that gap, the more a structure started to emerge — not because I was building one, but because one kept coming out of the material itself. In this video I cover what Neo-Eclectic Christianity is and where it came from, the red letter standard and why it extends beyond the canonical gospels, the three-tier text hierarchy for working with scripture, the three vectors of faith — Belief, Trust, and Practice — and the figures who embody them, and why orientation toward Jesus is both simpler and harder than any institution will tell you. Two thousand years. The largest religion on earth. And as far as I can find, not one denomination built entirely around the actual words of Jesus. That fact alone is worth sitting with.
