The Resurrection

Matthew 28:5-6

But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay.”

The first sermon of the new world is preached by an angel to women at a tomb. The body is missing; the prediction has held. From this empty stone, the rest of the New Testament flows outward.
