Paleontologist Reveals Scientific Evidence for a Young Earth

Is there scientific evidence for a young earth? In this clip from my interview with Dr. Marcus Ross, a paleontologist trained in conventional geology and paleontology, we explore several scientific discoveries that raise important questions about deep time. Dr. Ross discusses the discovery of soft tissue in dinosaur bones, including collagen, blood vessel structures, and other preserved proteins that have been reported in fossils supposedly tens of millions of years old. These findings have sparked significant debate in the scientific community about how biological materials could survive for such vast periods of time. We also discuss research on the Coconino Sandstone, where new geological work suggests that a formation long interpreted as desert dunes may instead have been deposited underwater. Importantly, Dr. Ross approaches these topics carefully and responsibly, acknowledging both the strengths and challenges facing young-earth creationist models while explaining why certain observations may fit better within a young-earth framework. This is a thoughtful discussion about science, evidence, and competing interpretations of the fossil record.
