🔴 Healthy Church Life | Dealing with Embarrassment | Terrified About Eternity

Today, we dive into your questions, while also sharing a Bible study on Philippians, where I address, "Living as a Healthy Church." I encourage listeners to slow down and take in the beauty of comfort, consolation, fellowship, affection and mercy, in such a way that welcomes our hearts to recieve the nurishment and health we were mean to live in. A question was sent in asking, "What does it mean that the meek shall inherit the earth?" I also address a number of scrupulosity-related questions, including, a struggle with checking if you believe enough, obsessing over blaspheming the Holy Spirit and being compulsively driven to "make everything right with your past and mistakes." I talk about the fear of eternity and those disturbing, existential thoughts like, “What if I’m stuck forever?” or “What if I get kicked out of heaven?” I speak my heart into this battle, while talking about the hope available to us. I talk about someone's questions, who is missing past seasons of joy and wondering if she somehow “messed up” her walk with God. I walk through how to work through intense feelings of embarrassment--showing how shame can infect this and what we can do to developed a renewed response. I also unpack what a real relationship with Christ looks like when your mind feels like a battlefield.
