He found purpose in the Marines—then lost it when he came home. What brought him back to life? After serving in the Marine Corps, including a deployment to Afghanistan, he came home with no direction, no peace, and a growing darkness he couldn’t shake. His marriage was strained, his hope was gone, and countless nights ended in tears on the shower floor. But when his wife spoke one sentence—“Nothing is going to change until you give it to the Lord”—God began writing a new story. This is the story of how surrender to Jesus brought healing, purpose, and a calling: to fight for veterans battling PTSD and suicide. Through Project Savior, he now leads a movement of men who love Jiu-Jitsu, the outdoors, and most of all—Jesus.
