In this video I share my personal journey through Bible translations—including the NIV, NRSV, KJV, NKJV, and ESV—and how my views developed over the years as a Christian, pastor, and seminary professor. My story began with a 1984 NIV Bible in Lutheran confirmation class, where I first developed a love for daily Scripture reading. Over the years, my studies in Bible college, seminary, pastoral ministry, and doctoral work exposed me to many translations of the Bible.
