Should We Retire the Term "Protestant"?

Most modern “Protestants” are actually evangelicals—and that confusion weakens the public witness of the Reformation tradition. Confessional Protestantism is older, deeper, and far more rooted than what most people experience in evangelical churches. Which is why I propose a new (but not so new) term of designation instead.
