Have you ever let fear keep you from moving forward? Summary Judges 6 shows us Gideon hiding in fear, yet God calls him a “mighty man of valor.” In this chapter, God patiently moves Gideon from paralyzing fear to faithful action—giving him a new identity, shifting his confidence from self to God, and challenging him with a private act of obedience before a public calling.
