PART TWO: God's Original Intention (Ep 6-7) Today I speak of a mystery. About something I do not believe I’ve experienced as I should, yet earnestly seek. I am referring to what the early church Fathers referred to as “theosis.” Theosis is often used interchangeably with words like divinization, deification, Godlikeness or Godliness. Theosis is the transformative process in which by God’s grace, our union with God is so complete that we become a full human expression of God’s image and likeness. We become like the divine.
