R.I.P. CHARLIE KIRK - You are finally Home, now it's our turn to carry on...

This is a sad day for those of us who followed Charlie Kirk and so enjoyed how he was able to handle any question which was thrown at him, even the hateful ones, graciously. It will be hard to replace someone of his caliber, but replace him we must, as this is what Jesus expects of us to do. He died way too young at the hands of someone who hated him. But Jesus said that though they hate us, he was hated first. And he told us to expect hatred, persecution, jail, flogging and even death (see Matthew 10:1-38), if we go out into the world 'in his name'. That was the commissioning of the 12 disciples, it is Charlie's commission too; and he fulfilled his commission.
