Grace from Germany now gets up on the ladder with Jay and the two of them take on a Muslim concerning the 6 earliest Qur'anic manuscripts, proving that none of them are exactly alike, and some even have 1000s of variants when compared to the current Qur'an (i.e. the Topkapi has 2,270 variants).
The Muslim man at the foot of the ladder dismissed their proofs by suggesting that they didn't need any early manuscripts because the Qur'an had been memorized at the very beginning.
Jay and Grace shut down that argument by asking which of the six manuscripts was used to memorize them, and why can't we find any manuscripts from the 7th century, when the Qur'an was supposed to have been created?
Jay and Grace then asked why would God, who already had two previous scriptures revealed in Hebrew and Greek, then decide to reveal his third scripture in Arabic, a language which no one could read in the 7th century because written Arabic was so crude that it didn't have any vowels or diacritical marks that early?
They then moved to the problem with what we know about what Muhammad did or what he said. It seems that none of those who were living with him (the Sahaba) and were watching and listening to him ever bothered to write down even one word or one sentence concerning what heir prophet did and said.
What's more, everything we know about their prophet was not finally written down for 200-300 years after the fact. This is so embarrassing for Muslims that two of their best scholars, Dr Yasir Qadhi and Dr Shabir Ally have now admitted publicly that the entire Western academia considers the Hadith sciences as discredited, because it is completely dependent on Oral Tradition, or nothing more than "heresay".
They both admit that the only reason that Muslims can trust in what was finally written down about their prophet was to have a belief (Iman) that the Sahaba and the Tabiun were honest and sinless men, who would never lie, so that what they told the next generation, and the following generation, for 5 generations was 100% accurate.
By the time Grace and Jay got to this point the crowd firmly believed that indeed there just was not much authority for either the Qur'an or the Traditions of the Prophet, unless you possessed a lot of "Iman", and hoped for the best.
