Assurance of Salvation Series | Part 1/3
Many people have built the assurance of their salvation on a past decision, a prayer they prayed, an emotional experience, or simply growing up around Christianity. But in Matthew 7, Jesus gives one of the most sobering warnings in all of Scripture when He says that there will be many who confidently profess Him outwardly and yet never truly knew Him. This video unpacks false assurance, cultural Christianity, easy-beliefism, and the danger of reducing the Gospel to a moment rather than genuine conversion. Scripture calls believers to examine themselves, not by looking for perfection, but by looking for evidence of repentance, transformation, and a life that increasingly submits to Christ. The goal is not to create fear, but to remove false peace and to point toward a biblical understanding of salvation and assurance.
