Healing Through Anger and Rage

I get really honest about this question. I dive into the very real struggle of road rage and anger behind the wheel, especially when we feel disrespected, ignored, or cut off by other drivers. I respond to a heartfelt question from someone who feels fine—until that disrespect trigger gets hit and rage takes over, followed by shame and self-hatred. I’ll share why road rage is rarely just about driving, and how it often connects to deeper wounds of neglect, invalidation, and not feeling seen or heard.
I also talk about how perfectionism, self-pressure, and OCD tendencies can make anger feel explosive, and why anger itself isn’t a sin—it’s what we do with it that matters. We’ll look at how to practice self-compassion instead of beating yourself up, how to let anger move through you without controlling your actions, and how your car can actually become a place of discipleship and healing. If you’ve struggled with overreacting on the road and then hating yourself for it, I invite you to tune in and walk this journey with me.
