A Biblical Perspective on Monetizing Christian Content

Christian content exists within the same online economy as every other niche, but monetizing a platform built around Scripture, theology, and spiritual trust introduces questions that deserve careful consideration. Scripture gives serious warnings about greed, selfish ambition, and peddling God’s Word, while also making room for those who labor in ministry to be materially supported. Money does not automatically corrupt ministry, but it does introduce motives, incentives, and responsibilities that Christians should be willing to examine regularly. As the lines between ministry, content creation, and business continue to blur, Christians on both sides of the screen should be thoughtful about what we build, what we support, and what ultimately serves the Gospel.
