God Behind Bars

Travis leads "Glory Lord" live during the Angola Prison Rodeo in front of nearly 2,000 incarcerated men. Experience this unforgettable worship moment from God Behind Bars Music as thousands gather to worship Jesus inside one of America's most well known prisons.
Before standing on stage in front of nearly 2,000 incarcerated men at the Angola Prison Rodeo, Travis wrestled with a question that many people carry:
"Am I too far gone for God to use me?"
Travis is an incarcerated man who faithfully leads worship inside Dixon Correctional Institute. When we first met him, he shared that he had struggled with shame because of his past and questioned whether he was worthy to lead others in worship.
But God had a different story to tell.
After encouraging Travis to leave that shame behind, we invited him to step onto one of the biggest stages in prison ministry and lead thousands of incarcerated men in worship during the Angola Prison Rodeo.
What happened next was a powerful reminder that God doesn't define us by our past. He calls us by His grace.
This live performance of "Glory Lord" is part of God Behind Bars Music, a collection of worship songs inspired by the powerful stories of incarcerated men and women whose lives have been transformed by Jesus. While Travis didn't write this song, his story is one of many that helped shape the heart behind God Behind Bars Vol. 2.
We pray this worship moment reminds you that no past is too broken, no shame is too great, and no life is beyond the reach of God's redemption.
If this video encouraged you, share it with someone who needs the reminder that God's grace is greater than their past.
