Look at that! Another possible Mecca!
Joe, from 'Red Judaism' (see his YouTube listed below) may have found a second location for an earlier Mecca, this time not in Southern Turkey, but in North Eastern Syria.
The Standard Islamic Narrative has always claimed that Mecca was located in the central part of Arabia, known as the Hijaz since the time of Adam and Eve.
It was considered a thriving city during the time of Abraham, according to Surah 21:51-71, and the centre of trade at the time of Muhammad.
Yet, Joe, by looking at two archaic documents, one called 'The Byzantine Arab Chronicle' from 741 AD, and the other called 'The Journey of Egeriae' from the 4th century AD, noted that they pointed to a location between Ur of the Chaldeas (in Mesopotamia) and Harran, in Southern Turkey for the location of Mecca.
This positions Mecca on the Khabur River, near the present day Ad Dughayrat Resevoir, in northern Syria, yet, thousands of miles too far north!
Are we beginning to see a pattern here?
