Baanah (1)
#One of the two sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, a captain in Saul’s army. He and his brother Rechab assassinated Ishbosheth (2 Sam. 4:2), and were on this account slain by David, and their mutilated bodies suspended over the pool at Hebron (5, 6, 12).

#The father of Heled, who was one of David’s thirty heroes (2 Sam. 23:29; 1 Chr. 11:30).
