Psalm 46:10-11
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

A command issued in the middle of catastrophe — the psalm opens with mountains falling into the sea. To be still is to stop fighting the wrong battle. The knowing follows the stilling.
