Psalm 23:1-4
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

David — the shepherd-king — names God his own shepherd. The psalm walks a complete life: pasture, water, valley, and a table set for the weary in plain sight of enemies. Every active verb belongs to the LORD.
