Human beings do not stop worshiping. The object of worship just changes. When a society removes God, it does not become neutral. It becomes man-centered. And when man becomes the highest authority, worship eventually gets redirected toward power, government, leaders, money, pleasure, status, or self. We see extreme examples of this in places like North Korea, where the state becomes almost religious in how it demands loyalty, devotion, and praise. Christianity gives a different answer. We were created to worship God. When we reject Him, we don't become free from worship. We just give our hearts to something smaller.
