Why is polygamy sorta trending, and why are people saying it's biblical? What in the nope is going on? Polygamy shows up in the Old Testament, in Islam, in Mormonism, but I've been seeing this promoted by some Christians today, and I'm surprised to see it growing. From TLC's Sister Wives to influencers like Rich Tidwell and Rob Kowalski to Muslim polygamist circles, this whole trend concerns me. Some of their arguments are that polygamy is really God’s design for marriage. I started paying closer attention to this when a friend sent me an Instagram profile of a man who claims to be a Christian and has two wives. From there, I discovered numerous others making the same claims. To unpack this, I invited my friend Michael Jones onto my channel. He’s addressed polygamy several times on his own platform, and together we break down the top biblical arguments polygamists use, expose the logical flaws, and look at the devastating psychological impact it has on women, children, and families.
