Archaeology is a contact sport. Archaeologists disagree. They debate. They challenge each other's conclusions. That's how the field works. In this discussion, a veteran archaeologist argues that the Durupınar formation in eastern Turkey is not Noah's Ark and says the evidence does not support that conclusion. He also points out a major issue with many of the recent headlines. Ground-penetrating radar can be unreliable in mountainous terrain, making bold claims based on scans alone difficult to justify. This is a good reminder that Christians should not believe something simply because it sounds exciting or because we want it to be true. Truth matters more than sensationalism.
