Your Anxiety Has a Name. Jesus Said It 2,000 Years Ago

Jesus didn't give you a therapy session. He gave you a diagnosis — and He said it 2,000 years ago. In this video, we go through five moments in the Gospels where Jesus directly addressed anxiety. His answer wasn't a breathing technique, a coping mechanism, or a feeling. It was a reorientation — and there's a Greek word in point five that will completely change how you see this. If you're a man living with the low-grade hum — the background noise of worry, distraction, and the feeling that something is deeply wrong — this is for you. We walk through Matthew 6, Luke 10, Mark 4, and John 16:33 to show that anxiety, according to Jesus, is not primarily a mental health condition. It is a divided mind trying to control outcomes it was never designed to control in a soul that has drifted from the only relationship that makes rest possible. That is not therapy. That is theology.
